ATSIC: Put in a submission to the Senate Committee Inquiry on Indigenous Affairs: A Senate Inquiry has been established on Indigenous affairs adminstration, including the draft legislation abolishing ATSICand independent Indigenous representation. It provides an important opportunity to have a say. Submissions due by 30 July 2004 but can be submitted after this date.

Aborignal Tent Embassy - Recent incidents
A report on the future of the Aboriginal Tent Embassy, commissioned by the Queanbeyan Regional Council of ATSIC, has recommended banning camping at the site. This follows an arson attack and subsequent removal of a heritage-listed building at the site. The report is currently not publicly available but links to the report and suggested action will be posted here in the near future.
