Join your local ANTaR group An important way you can contribute to reconciliation and justice for Indigenous Australians is by joining your local ANTaR group. ANTaR is active at national, state and local levels. Much of ANTaR's work is carried out at a grass roots level by local ANTaR groups. There are over 200 local ANTaR groups in Australia, comprising members of all ages from diverse social and political backgrounds. ANTaR is non-party-political and seeks to reach all sectors of the Australian community. Local ANTaR activities include organising information stalls, public meetings and seminars, Sea of Hands "puddles", and local reconciliation events carried out in conjunction with local Indigenous groups and other members of the community. Click here for national and state contact details which will enable you to find your local ANTaR group or to become involved with the peak ANTaR body in your state. There is also a European-based ANTaR group known as ENIAR (European Network for Indigenous Australian Rights). |
